HailTrace

HailTrace is a mobile + web app that helps contractors, adjusters, and property owners document hail events and build defensible damage reports. Users drop an address, then the app pulls radar-derived hail probability, estimated hail size, storm track timing, and nearby ground reports for that exact location and time window. It generates a shareable “storm evidence packet” with maps, timestamps, and data-source citations that can be attached to insurance claims or job proposals. It also supports on-site capture: guided photo checklists, roof/vehicle damage annotations, and optional Bluetooth hail-pad sensor uploads for higher-confidence verification. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps summarize evidence, flag inconsistencies (e.g., damage type vs reported hail size), and produce a clean narrative report. Realistically, data quality varies by region, so the app is positioned as decision support—not a perfect truth machine.
