HallPassHQ

HallPassHQ is a web + mobile app for managing student out-of-class movement (bathroom, nurse, counselor, office) without paper passes or constant interruptions. Teachers issue a pass in seconds, set destination and time limit, and the student gets a QR code on their phone or a printed slip. Admins and hall monitors see a live dashboard of who is out, where they’re headed, and how long they’ve been gone, with automatic overdue alerts. The system supports building-wide rules like one-student-per-destination, blackout times, and restricted areas. It also generates reports on frequent flyers, peak times, and chronic tardiness patterns to support interventions. This is not glamorous software, but it targets a daily, measurable operational headache schools actually pay to reduce: lost instructional time, hallway chaos, and safety accountability.
