HaltRadar
HaltRadar is a mobile + web app that tracks U.S. stock trading halts in real time and explains what likely triggered them (news pending, volatility pause/LULD, order imbalance, regulatory, etc.) in plain language. It pushes instant alerts, shows a timeline of events around the halt (price action, volume spike, related headlines, SEC filings if relevant), and estimates key restart risks (gap probability, typical reopen behavior for that ticker/sector, and liquidity warning flags). This is not a “get rich quick” scanner; it’s a situational awareness tool for traders who keep getting blindsided by halts and reopen whipsaws. The app includes watchlists, filters (market cap, float, short interest proxies, options activity), and a post-mortem view so users can learn patterns and avoid repeating mistakes. AI is used for headline/filing summarization and cause classification, not price prediction.
