HandMeDown

HandMeDown is a mobile app + web dashboard that helps parents buy and sell used kids and baby clothing in their own neighborhoods with far less hassle than general marketplaces. Sellers snap a few photos, pick a brand and size, and the app auto-suggests a fair bundle price and creates “lots” (e.g., 10 onesies, 5 pants) because single-item listings are a time sink. Buyers browse by size, season, and brand, then reserve a pickup window or choose low-cost local delivery via integrated couriers. Trust is built through verified profiles, meetup-safe locations, and simple condition grading with photo prompts. This is not a magic AI closet; it’s a workflow tool that makes the annoying parts (pricing, bundling, sorting, scheduling) quick enough that busy parents will actually use it.
