HandOff is a mobile + web app that coordinates real-life grandparent caregiving without endless texts and missed details. Parents create a simple “care plan” for each child (pickup rules, allergies, meds, nap routines, screen-time limits, emergency contacts) and assign it to specific grandparents and dates. Grandparents get a clean, large-text daily checklist and can confirm tasks with one tap. The app logs handoffs (who picked up, when, where), tracks meds given, and stores a printable emergency sheet. It also includes a lightweight AI assistant that turns messy parent notes into a clear checklist and flags contradictions (e.g., “no dairy” vs “yogurt snack”). This is not a social network; it’s a practical coordination tool for families where grandparents are part-time caregivers and mistakes are costly.
