HandOffCheck

HandOffCheck is a web + mobile app that standardizes shift handovers in high-risk operations (manufacturing, logistics, facilities, clinics). It replaces informal notes and chat threads with a structured, role-based checklist that forces clarity: what changed, what’s pending, what’s risky, and who owns it next. The app captures critical context (photos, meter readings, incident flags), timestamps everything, and requires explicit acceptance by the incoming person—so tasks don’t silently fall through. It also highlights “handoff gaps” (missing fields, vague language, unassigned items) and escalates overdue acknowledgements to supervisors. This is not glamorous software: adoption lives or dies on being faster than a notebook. The MVP focuses on speed, offline mode, and frictionless templates per site. Over time, analytics show recurring failure points and training needs.
