HandoffHub

HandoffHub is a mobile + web app for coordinating childcare pickups, drop-offs, and custody/guardian handoffs across parents, sitters, nannies, and after-school programs. It creates a single “handoff plan” with who/when/where, live ETA tracking, and a required check-in/check-out flow using QR codes or one-time PINs. If someone is late or a plan changes, it pushes alerts to all approved adults and can auto-generate an updated handoff timeline. It also stores permissions (who is allowed to pick up), emergency contacts, and location notes (which door, car line rules). This is a traditional app with a light AI layer that suggests schedules, detects conflicts (overlaps, impossible travel times), and drafts messages to schools/sitters. The goal is boring reliability—less texting, fewer misunderstandings, fewer “who’s picking up?” panics.
