HangPlan

HangPlan is a web + tablet app for small galleries and museums to plan wall layouts, labels, and installation checklists from a simple room capture. Staff import artworks (size, frame depth, weight, hanging method), then build to-scale wall mockups with spacing rules, sightline height presets, and collision warnings (vents, outlets, doors). It outputs print-ready label sheets, a wall-by-wall install pack, and a step-by-step hang order with measurements from corners—so installers stop improvising with tape and spreadsheets. Optional AI helps by proposing an initial layout based on curatorial constraints (groupings, chronology, color balance) and accessibility rules, but users stay in control. This is not glamorous; it’s operational. The product wins by saving hours per show, reducing rehangs, and making part-time staff more consistent.
