HaptiScore

HaptiScore is a companion app that syncs haptic patterns and simple multisensory cues (phone vibration, wearable haptics, optional smart lights) to movies, shows, and trailers. Users pick a title, start playback on their TV/streaming device, and the app auto-syncs via audio fingerprinting to deliver timed “haptic scores” (rumble, taps, pulses) that match action beats, jump scares, and musical drops. Creators can publish community-made haptic tracks with a lightweight editor and moderation. This is not a replacement for VR; it’s a low-friction way to make home viewing more immersive using hardware people already own. Realistically, the experience will be subtle on phones and best with supported wearables (e.g., bHaptics). Monetization is subscription for premium tracks plus a marketplace revenue share for top creators.
