HarborProof is a mobile + web app for ports, marinas, and cleanup groups to document plastic removal with audit-grade evidence. Volunteers or staff capture a short guided video and a few photos; the app auto-tags location, time, and shoreline zone, then generates a standardized “cleanup receipt” with estimated weight, item categories, and chain-of-custody metadata. On the web dashboard, port authorities and sponsors can review events, flag suspicious submissions, and export reports aligned to ESG and grant requirements. This is not a feel-good social feed; it’s compliance-grade documentation that reduces fraud and makes funding decisions easier. An AI component helps classify debris types and detect duplicate/low-quality submissions, but the workflow still works when AI confidence is low by requiring simple human verification steps.
