HardshipHub
HardshipHub is a mobile + web app that helps people request hardship programs and payment plans from lenders with less stress and fewer mistakes. Instead of generic “debt payoff” advice, it guides users through a realistic workflow: identify which accounts are worth negotiating, generate lender-specific request packets (hardship letter, budget snapshot, proposed terms), track deadlines, and store call notes and outcomes. An AI assistant helps draft messages, summarize calls from user notes, and suggest next steps based on what the lender typically offers (APR reduction, forbearance, fee waivers, re-aging, settlement). The app is brutally pragmatic: it warns when negotiation is unlikely, when a user is at risk of charge-off, and when a nonprofit credit counselor or bankruptcy consult is the rational move. Monetization is subscription plus optional one-time “packet review” upsell.
