HardTalk is a web + mobile AI coaching app for managers who avoid or botch difficult conversations (performance issues, conflict, layoffs, promotion denials). You pick a scenario, paste a few facts, and role-play a live conversation with an AI “employee” that pushes back realistically. After the role-play, you get a blunt scorecard on clarity, empathy, accountability, and legal/HR risk language, plus alternative phrasing and a short plan for the next 1:1. It also generates a one-page conversation brief you can share with HR or your manager. This is not generic leadership content; it’s reps, like a flight simulator. Realistically, the app wins only if it feels uncomfortably real and saves time versus asking HR for help every time.
