HazardMap

HazardMap is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps parents baby-proof faster and more consistently. You walk through each room and record a short video; the app flags common hazards (reachable cords, unsecured furniture, choking-sized objects, open outlets, blind strings, accessible cleaners) and turns them into a prioritized checklist. It also asks a few context questions (child age/mobility, pets, home type, renters vs owners) to avoid generic advice. Each task includes a “good enough” standard, links to recommended fix types (not just products), and a time/cost estimate so you can actually finish. The app stores before/after photos, reminders for re-checks as the child grows, and a shareable report for co-parents or caregivers. It’s not a safety guarantee—just a structured way to reduce the most likely preventable risks.
