HeadroomIQ is a web + desktop (optional on-prem) AI-assisted forecasting and dispatch planning tool for hydro plants that struggle with curtailment, flood constraints, and volatile market signals. It ingests reservoir levels, inflows, weather forecasts, downstream flow requirements, unit availability, and market prices to produce a practical “headroom plan”: how much generation flexibility you truly have over the next 1–168 hours and what actions preserve it (pre-release, unit commitment, maintenance deferral, conservative ramping). The product is not a SCADA replacement; it sits above existing historian/EMS tools and outputs operator-friendly recommendations, confidence bands, and constraint explanations. It also generates audit-ready notes for compliance and internal shift handover. Realistically, adoption requires tight integration and trust; the MVP should focus on one plant, one market, and a narrow set of constraints to prove ROI before expanding.
