HearTrack
HearTrack is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that ingests public committee hearing video/audio, agendas, witness lists, and posted documents, then produces time-stamped transcripts, speaker attribution, and issue tags. Users can search across hearings by bill number, topic, witness, or exact quote, and generate shareable “clips” with citations suitable for memos, news stories, or constituent updates. It also tracks amendments and votes discussed in-session and links them to the exact moment they were mentioned. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles transcription, speaker diarization, and semantic search; traditional software handles data ingestion, permissions, audit trails, and exports. Realistically, the hardest part is messy government data sources and uneven video quality; the product must focus on a few jurisdictions first and be excellent there rather than pretending to cover everything.
