HeatHarmony
HeatHarmony is a mobile + web app that helps households, shared apartments, and small offices agree on heating/cooling settings without constant conflict. Each person sets comfort preferences (temperature range, sleep hours, work-from-home days, sensitivity notes). The app generates a weekly “comfort schedule” that balances preferences and estimates energy cost impact, then lets members vote or propose swaps. It connects to supported smart thermostats to apply schedules automatically, or provides simple reminders for manual systems. A shared dashboard shows who benefited this week, projected bill changes, and a fairness score so no one feels steamrolled. It also includes a lightweight “issue log” (e.g., too cold at night) to adjust future schedules based on real feedback rather than arguments. This is not magic: it won’t fix bad insulation or extreme preferences, but it will reduce repeat fights and make tradeoffs explicit.
