HeatLeakMap
HeatLeakMap is a mobile + web AI app that helps cities, housing providers, and building managers identify the worst heat-loss buildings block-by-block using low-cost thermal scans and public data. Residents or maintenance staff capture guided thermal photos (with calibration prompts), and the app estimates likely envelope issues (missing insulation, air leakage, thermal bridging) and prioritizes fixes by payback and carbon impact. A web dashboard aggregates results into a “retrofit queue,” generates simple evidence packs for grants/rebates, and tracks before/after verification using repeat scans and utility baselines. This is not a magic thermal camera replacement: accuracy depends on proper capture conditions, but it’s good enough to triage thousands of units and stop wasting money on the wrong buildings first. The product focuses on operational decisions, not glossy sustainability reporting.
