HeatLease is a web + mobile app that helps geothermal developers and landowners evaluate lease prospects using a single, defensible “heat viability” report. It aggregates public datasets (heat flow, well logs, seismicity, faults, groundwater, protected lands, grid proximity) and turns them into a site score, risk flags, and a plain-English summary suitable for early-stage negotiations. An AI layer assists by extracting key parameters from PDFs (state well reports, academic papers) and generating standardized memos, but the core value is transparent GIS overlays and traceable citations—not black-box predictions. The app is realistic: it won’t “find geothermal anywhere,” and it clearly communicates uncertainty ranges and data gaps. Monetization is per-report and team subscriptions for small developers, brokers, and land services firms who need faster screening before spending on expensive surveys.
