HeatProof

HeatProof is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that finds hidden HVAC inefficiency using data you already have: thermostat runtime, local weather, and a quick home profile (sq ft, insulation guess, system type). It builds a simple “home thermal fingerprint” to estimate how fast your house loses/gains heat and flags the exact hours and setpoint patterns that waste money (e.g., oversized setbacks, short-cycling, heat pump aux heat spikes). Instead of generic tips, it generates a weekly plan with 2–3 changes and predicted savings, plus alerts when behavior changes (filter likely clogged, duct leak suspected, or thermostat schedule drift). It supports major ecosystems via integrations where possible, but is honest when your device won’t share enough data and falls back to manual runtime logging. The goal is measurable savings and fewer comfort complaints, not fancy dashboards.
