HeatRatePro

HeatRatePro is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for fossil and transition power plants to track, explain, and reduce heat-rate degradation day by day. It ingests SCADA/PI tags and fuel/dispatch data, then calculates unit heat rate, starts penalties, ramp impacts, and key loss buckets (condenser backpressure, attemperation spray, excess O2, auxiliary load, fouling indicators). Operators and performance engineers get a single “shift scorecard” with anomalies, recommended checks, and a short list of actions tied to expected MMBtu savings. The AI layer helps draft root-cause narratives, suggests likely contributors based on patterns, and auto-generates daily/weekly performance reports for management and regulators. This is not a digital twin; it’s a pragmatic performance accountability tool that works even with messy tags and partial data, focusing on measurable savings and auditability.
