HeatWatch
HeatWatch is a mobile + web app that helps cattle and dairy operations detect estrus and likely calving windows using low-cost sensor inputs (pedometer collars, ear tags, or even manual observations) and simple AI anomaly detection. It consolidates activity spikes, rumination drops, and temperature notes into a single “action list” for the day: cows to check, cows to breed, and cows to re-check. The MVP focuses on being hardware-agnostic and brutally practical: it accepts CSV imports from common tag vendors, works offline in barns, and produces clear, auditable recommendations rather than black-box scores. It also tracks outcomes (breed date, pregnancy check, calving date) to continuously calibrate thresholds per herd and season. The goal is fewer missed heats, fewer unnecessary palpations, and tighter calving intervals without forcing farms into a single expensive hardware ecosystem.
