HeatWatchr
HeatWatchr is a mobile + web app for small-to-mid livestock operations to manage estrus detection and breeding schedules without expensive proprietary hardware. Farmers log observed heat signs, activity notes, and bull exposure; the app turns that into a simple “breed window” calendar and daily action list. Optionally, it connects to low-cost BLE ear tags or off-the-shelf pedometers (where available) to import activity spikes, but it works fully manual for farms that won’t buy sensors. It also tracks services, pregnancy checks, calving dates, and repeat breeders, then flags animals that are likely being missed or cycling irregularly. The goal is not magic AI—it’s operational discipline: fewer open days, fewer wasted semen/straws, and fewer “we forgot” moments. Reports are exportable for vets, co-ops, or record compliance, and it supports offline mode for barns with bad connectivity.
