HeckleDeck

HeckleDeck is a mobile app for quick, structured joke-and-roast battles between friends or small groups. You pick a “battle prompt” (e.g., bad cooking, terrible texting, always late), then each player submits a short roast or pun within a timer. The app scores rounds using a mix of crowd votes and lightweight AI checks for originality and basic safety (no slurs, doxxing, threats). It also generates optional “assist cards” (setup lines, rhyme starters, pun stems) for people who aren’t naturally funny, so the game stays inclusive. Sessions are designed to be 3–7 minutes, perfect for parties, group chats, or breaks. Monetization is realistic: a free tier with limited battles per day, and a subscription for unlimited rooms, premium prompt packs, and custom inside-joke decks. The goal isn’t to replace comedy—it’s to make social humor easier to start and sustain.
