HedgeBuddy is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps sports bettors manage risk like a bankroll manager, not a hype-driven tipster. Instead of selling picks, it ingests your bet slips (manual entry or sportsbook email/CSV import where available), calculates true exposure by team/market, and suggests simple hedging or stop-loss actions based on your own rules. The AI component summarizes your weekly performance, flags tilt patterns (e.g., late-night live bets, doubling after losses), and generates a “next-bet checklist” to reduce impulsive wagers. It also offers closing-line value tracking when odds data is available, so users can see whether they’re consistently beating the market—even if short-term results vary. This is realistically a niche product: it won’t make users rich, but it can make them more disciplined and less reckless.
