HedgeMemo

HedgeMemo is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for commodity-consuming mid-market companies that struggle to explain and govern hedging decisions. It centralizes hedge proposals, scenario impacts, approvals, and post-trade documentation in one place, replacing scattered spreadsheets and email threads. Users input exposure (volumes, tenors, index links), proposed instruments (futures, swaps, options), and constraints (policy limits, credit lines). The app generates a standardized “hedge memo” with key risks, P&L sensitivity, and policy checks, then routes it for approval with an audit trail. It also tracks hedge performance versus the original rationale and flags when assumptions drift (volume changes, index basis shifts, contract roll dates). This is not a trading terminal; it’s governance and decision hygiene for teams that already execute through brokers/FCMs/OTC dealers.
