HeelProof
HeelProof is a mobile + web app that helps people predict whether a specific shoe will be comfortable for their feet before buying. Users scan their feet with a phone camera, answer a short comfort profile (bunions, wide toe box needs, arch height, heel tolerance), then search or scan a shoe’s barcode/URL. The app aggregates real-world comfort reports from verified purchasers and maps them to foot profiles, producing a simple “likely comfort” score plus risk reasons (toe pinch, heel slip, arch pressure). It also recommends size adjustments and alternative models with similar style but better comfort fit. This is not a magic fit guarantee—brands vary and data can be messy—but it can materially reduce painful purchases and returns when enough data accumulates.
