HeirHandoff

HeirHandoff is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that turns “I have documents somewhere” into a practical, shareable estate readiness kit. Users upload wills, trusts, beneficiary forms, insurance policies, property deeds, and a simple asset list. The app then generates a plain-English “What happens when I die?” summary, highlights missing items (e.g., no beneficiaries on 401(k), outdated executor, no digital asset plan), and creates a step-by-step checklist for survivors. It also supports controlled access: you can pre-authorize specific people (spouse, adult child, attorney) to receive time-locked access or access triggered by a verification workflow. The goal isn’t to replace lawyers; it’s to make plans findable, current, and actionable. Expect heavy compliance/security work and slower sales cycles, but the value is real for families who want less chaos.
