HeirloomKit

HeirloomKit is a mobile + web app that helps families digitize, label, and preserve “old stuff” (photos, letters, certificates, recipes, ticket stubs) without becoming a full-time archivist. You scan with your phone, then the app auto-suggests dates, locations, people, and categories using AI, but keeps you in control with quick confirm/deny prompts. The core value is a clean, private family archive with simple browsing: timelines, “who appears with whom,” and collections like “Grandma’s recipes” or “Dad’s military papers.” It also generates a lightweight “estate binder” export (PDF + folder structure) so the archive doesn’t die if the subscription ends. Realistically, this won’t beat big photo apps on general storage; it wins by focusing on mixed-document nostalgia and practical inheritance-ready organization.
