HelmetPulse
HelmetPulse is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps teams and athletes decide when protective gear should be pulled from use after impacts. Users scan a helmet or pads via QR/NFC, log an impact event in seconds, and the app builds a usage and incident history per item. For higher-end programs, it can optionally ingest data from supported impact sensors (if present) and flag “inspect now” thresholds. The AI component summarizes patterns (e.g., repeated high-risk events, aging gear, frequent repairs) and generates a simple, defensible “serviceability” report for coaches, parents, and equipment managers. It also schedules reconditioning, tracks warranty windows, and keeps proof-of-compliance records for leagues. This is not a magic concussion detector; it’s a practical decision-support and audit trail tool for gear safety and accountability.
