HerdShift

HerdShift is a mobile + web AI app for livestock and herding dog handlers who need objective training and work records. You clip your phone on a fence post (or use a GoPro upload), record a session, and the app auto-tags key moments: outrun, lift, fetch line, drive, pen, shed attempts, grip incidents, and handler commands. It generates a simple scorecard and a short “next session” plan based on recurring issues (e.g., slicing flanks, tight lift, over-gripping). It also keeps a logbook for trials, farm jobs, stock type, weather, and dog condition—useful for progress tracking and for trainers who need to justify results to clients. Reality check: accuracy will be imperfect at first; the product wins by being “good enough” and improving with user feedback, not by pretending it’s a judge.
