HeritagePulse

HeritagePulse is a web + mobile app that helps heritage managers and NGOs monitor threats to world heritage sites using a practical risk dashboard. It aggregates satellite-derived change signals (flooding, wildfire burn scars, vegetation loss, new construction footprints) and pairs them with on-the-ground incident reports from staff and vetted volunteers. Instead of trying to be a tourist guide, it focuses on operational triage: what changed, where, how confident, and what to do next. Users can set alert thresholds per site, attach photos and notes, and export a weekly “state of the site” brief for funders or authorities. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used for change detection summaries and report triage, but the product is built around workflows, permissions, and audit trails that real institutions require. It’s not glamorous, but it’s useful.
