HerpHabitat is a mobile + web app that helps lizard keepers run safer, more consistent enclosures by turning sensor data into actionable checks. Users connect common Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi temp and humidity sensors (or enter readings manually) and set species-specific targets for basking spot, cool side, nighttime drops, and humidity ranges. The app flags risky trends (e.g., chronic low basking temps, humidity spikes that invite respiratory issues) and provides a simple daily checklist: misting schedule, bulb replacement reminders, and feeding/weight notes. It also stores enclosure “profiles” so breeders or multi-tank owners can copy setups and keep consistency. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to detect patterns (like heat gradient collapse) and suggest likely causes (probe placement, failing thermostat, room temp swings), but the core value works without AI.
