HerpHabits is a mobile app (iOS/Android) plus a lightweight web dashboard that helps reptile and amphibian owners run their husbandry like a checklist, not a vibe. You log each animal, enclosure type, and equipment, then track temperature, humidity, UVB bulb age, feeding, supplements, shedding, fecals, and vet visits. The app sends blunt, configurable alerts when you’re drifting out of safe ranges or forgetting time-based tasks (UVB replacement, substrate changes, quarantine milestones). It also includes a species-specific “minimum viable care plan” library that’s conservative and clearly sourced, avoiding forum myths. Optional AI features summarize your logs into a “what changed before the problem” report and generate a vet-ready timeline when something goes wrong. This is not a magic diagnosis tool; it’s a disciplined record and reminder system that reduces preventable mistakes.
