HIEPulse

HIEPulse is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that monitors real-world health information exchange performance across facilities, EHRs, and interfaces. Instead of trusting vendor uptime dashboards, it continuously validates that CCDAs, ADT feeds, FHIR queries, and Direct messages are arriving, parseable, and clinically usable. It flags silent failures (missing sections, empty meds, wrong patient matches, delayed ADTs) and quantifies impact with simple metrics: time-to-receipt, completeness score, match rate, and downstream acknowledgment. It also provides a lightweight “transaction replay” workflow to reproduce issues without waiting for the next patient event. This is not a new HIE; it’s an observability layer that sits alongside existing HIEs, interface engines, and EHR integrations. Expect heavy integration work, slow procurement, and long sales cycles, but the value is tangible when exchanges fail quietly and patient care suffers.
