HierarchyLint
HierarchyLint is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that audits screens for visual hierarchy clarity. You upload screenshots or point it at a staging URL; it then scores each view on scan order, primary/secondary CTA dominance, typographic scale consistency, spacing rhythm, and contrast-driven emphasis. It generates a “first 3 seconds” report showing what a user is likely to notice first, second, and third, plus a list of concrete fixes (e.g., reduce competing CTA weight, increase heading-to-body ratio, tighten line length, normalize spacing tokens). It also supports design-system checks by comparing screens against your token rules (type scale, spacing scale, color roles) and flags drift. This is not a magic redesign tool: it’s a fast, repeatable QA layer that helps teams avoid shipping confusing pages and A/B tests that fail for obvious hierarchy reasons.
