HOAProof is a mobile + web app that helps condo and townhome shoppers avoid expensive surprises by verifying HOA rules and costs before they commit. Users upload listing links and any documents they can get (disclosures, bylaws, budget, meeting minutes). The app extracts key constraints—rental caps, pet limits, parking, special assessment history, insurance gaps, litigation, reserve funding health—and produces a plain-English “risk card” with citations back to the source pages. It also generates a due-diligence checklist and a set of questions to send to the HOA/management company. This is an AI-assisted workflow, but it’s not magic: it flags missing documents and uncertainty, and it pushes users to request specific items. Monetization is per-report and a subscription for agents/investors. The goal is fewer failed deals, fewer post-close regrets, and faster, more confident decisions.
