Hold2Door is a web + mobile AI-assisted delivery-rescue platform for same-day and express shipments that are about to fail (recipient not home, wrong address, gate code missing, driver running late). It plugs into a retailer’s existing carrier stack (local couriers, gig fleets, in-house drivers) and triggers a “save flow” when risk signals appear: real-time ETA drift, repeated call failures, geofence mismatch, or customer non-response. The app automatically contacts the recipient via SMS/WhatsApp with a branded micro-portal to confirm address, add access instructions, choose a safe drop option, or reroute to a nearby pickup partner (locker/store) within minutes. For drivers, it provides one-tap resolution steps and proof capture. For ops, it shows a live exception queue, SLA impact, and cost of rescue vs. return-to-sender. It’s not glamorous, but it reduces the most expensive part of express: failed first attempts.
