HoldMySlot is a web + mobile booking system built around one blunt reality: many appointments fail because there’s no real commitment. Instead of just sending reminders, it makes every booking require a refundable deposit or card hold, with clear, configurable rules per service (e.g., free reschedule up to 24 hours, partial fee inside 24 hours, no-show fee). It supports simple service menus, staff schedules, and a clean booking page that works on any device. Customers can reschedule themselves within policy, reducing back-and-forth. Businesses get a dashboard showing upcoming revenue at risk, cancellation patterns, and which clients repeatedly break rules. This isn’t trying to replace full practice-management suites; it’s a lightweight layer that plugs into Stripe and Google Calendar to enforce commitment and protect time.
