HoldoverIQ

HoldoverIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for indie distributors and small-to-mid exhibitors who struggle to decide which films to keep, drop, or expand each week. It ingests public box office, showtime density, local competition, seasonality, and basic theater attributes to produce a practical “holdover score” and revenue-range forecast per title per location. The app focuses on what smaller players actually control: screen allocation, showtimes, pricing tiers, and targeted local marketing windows. Users can run simple what-if scenarios (e.g., add a Friday late show, reduce matinees, swap one screen to a new opener) and get an expected impact with confidence bands. It also generates a weekly booking memo you can send to partners, translating the model into plain language. This is an AI + traditional analytics app, but it’s intentionally conservative: it won’t promise miracles, just better decisions with less guesswork.
