HoldTag

HoldTag is a web + mobile app (traditional + light AI) that prevents the most common click-and-collect failure: staff can’t find the order, the item was put back, or the customer arrives before it’s truly staged. It creates a simple “digital hold tag” for each order: a QR code tied to a specific tote/bin, shelf location, and timestamped chain-of-custody. Staff scan at pick, stage, handoff, and return-to-shelf, producing a searchable audit trail and real-time readiness status. A lightweight AI layer flags risky orders (high substitution likelihood, repeat mispicks, short staffing windows) and recommends staging priority. It integrates with common POS/OMS via webhook/API and works even with cheap Android devices. The goal is fewer failed pickups, fewer refunds, and less time wasted hunting for orders—without replacing existing systems.
