HookHunt

HookHunt is a mobile + web AI discovery app that helps you find new music by skipping straight to the “hook” (the most replayed, most memorable segment) instead of forcing full-track sampling. It pulls short, licensed preview snippets via streaming APIs and ranks them by hook strength using audio features (energy, novelty, chorus likelihood) plus real user behavior (replays, saves, skips). Users swipe through 10–15 second hook clips, then jump to the full track in their preferred streaming service. Creators and indie labels can upload tracks (or link releases) and see where listeners drop off, which hooks convert, and which audience segments respond. Playlists are built from “hook wins,” not genre labels, making discovery faster when you’re busy or indecisive. This is not a replacement for Spotify/Apple Music; it’s a discovery layer that feeds them.
