HRIPlaybook

HRIPlaybook is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for teams building human-robot interaction flows—especially for service robots in hospitals, hotels, retail, and warehouses. It lets you run lightweight, repeatable “interaction trials” using a phone or tablet as a sensor hub: record video/audio, capture operator notes, tag key moments (confusion, hesitation, near-miss), and generate a structured report of what failed and why. An AI layer auto-transcribes speech, detects turn-taking breakdowns, flags likely safety/comfort issues, and summarizes findings into actionable UX and behavior changes. The honest value: most robotics teams are great at autonomy but weak at user testing, and they don’t have time to build a research ops stack. This app makes HRI evaluation boring, standardized, and fast—so teams can iterate without hiring a full HRI lab.
