HSScout is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion for cross-border sellers that reduces customs delays and unexpected duties by improving HS code and product attribute accuracy. Sellers paste a product URL, upload a spec sheet, or enter key attributes; the app proposes likely HS codes per destination, highlights missing compliance fields (materials, composition %, wattage, battery type, etc.), and generates a “customs-ready” product record. It also flags high-risk keywords and restricted items, suggests safer descriptions, and produces packing list and commercial invoice drafts aligned to the chosen code. This is an AI-assisted workflow, but it’s not magic: it focuses on structured data capture, evidence tracking, and repeatable templates so teams can standardize classifications across catalogs. Integrations start simple (CSV/Shopify export) and expand to ERP/WMS later.
