HuntHonor

HuntHonor is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps hunters and anglers make defensible, ethics-aligned decisions before, during, and after a trip. It offers species- and region-specific ethical checklists (shot angles, retrieval plans, gear readiness, weather risk, bycatch handling, waste prevention) and a private trip log that documents choices without turning into a social-media brag platform. An AI assistant can answer “what’s the most ethical option here?” using user-provided context (distance, conditions, experience level) and local guidelines, then suggests safer alternatives (pass the shot, change hook type, wait for better conditions). The app also generates a simple “Ethics Summary” you can share with landowners, mentors, or clubs. Realistically, it won’t convert people who don’t care; it’s built for those who already want to do better and avoid bad calls that lead to suffering, waste, or public backlash.
