HushCue

HushCue is a mobile + web app that gives teachers reliable, repeatable attention signals that actually cut through classroom noise. The teacher taps a signal (chime, clap pattern, call-and-response phrase, timer-to-silence, or visual cue), and student devices (or a shared screen) respond with a full-screen animation and gentle audio at a controlled volume. It includes a “no student phones required” mode using a projected visual + optional Bluetooth speaker, because many classrooms ban devices. The app tracks how long it takes the class to get quiet after each cue, building a simple “settle time” trend by period and day. It’s not magic: it won’t fix weak routines, but it gives teachers consistent cues, measurable feedback, and quick iteration. Setup is designed to be under 5 minutes, with prebuilt signal packs aligned to grade bands.
