HVACProof is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps homeowners and DIYers validate HVAC performance before and after a repair or tune-up. It guides users through simple, safe measurements (supply/return temps, static pressure via inexpensive manometer, filter condition, runtime, register airflow checks) and turns them into a clear “pass/fail” report with likely root causes. The AI layer reads photos of the furnace/air handler nameplate, thermostat wiring, filter setup, and duct/register conditions to auto-fill equipment details and flag common mistakes (wrong filter size, blocked returns, incorrect thermostat wiring, dirty coil symptoms). Users can export a shareable report for a contractor, warranty claim, or landlord dispute. It’s not a replacement for a pro—it's a reality check that prevents wasted service calls, catches scams, and helps DIYers avoid dangerous decisions.
