HybridDispatch
HybridDispatch is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for operators of hybrid power systems (solar + battery + diesel/gas gensets) to plan and run day-ahead and real-time dispatch. It ingests forecasts (solar, load, fuel price) and site constraints (battery SOC limits, genset min load, ramp rates, maintenance windows) and produces an operating schedule that minimizes fuel and starts while meeting reliability targets. It also tracks actual vs planned performance, highlights constraint violations, and quantifies savings in dollars and liters. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional optimization and rules handle the hard constraints; AI improves forecasts, detects sensor anomalies, and suggests tuning changes (e.g., SOC targets) based on historical outcomes. It’s designed for small-to-mid sites that can’t justify a full SCADA/EMS overhaul but still bleed money from poor dispatch decisions.
