Users connect their car via an OBD-II Bluetooth dongle (optional) or enter fuel-ups and maintenance manually. The app normalizes data by route type (city/highway/mixed), climate, tire size, and driving style to estimate true MPG, battery assist behavior, and cost-per-mile. For shoppers, it produces a “you vs. this car” comparison: expected monthly fuel spend, maintenance risk flags (e.g., known brake actuator issues), and resale outlook using recent listing data. It’s brutally honest: if your commute is short and cold, it will tell you a hybrid may underperform and a conventional car could be cheaper. Monetization is subscription plus affiliate revenue from dongles and insurance/financing leads (careful, transparent labeling).
