HybridMatch

HybridMatch is a mobile + web app that compares hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars using your actual driving pattern, local fuel/electricity costs, and climate. Instead of generic MPG/MPGe numbers, it builds a scenario: your commute distance, average speed, parking/charging access, winter temps, and typical trip mix. It then estimates fuel vs electric miles, monthly energy spend, and a realistic 3-year cost picture including incentives (where applicable) and maintenance assumptions. You can compare up to five vehicles side-by-side and see how the ranking changes if gas spikes, electricity rates change, or you move. It’s not a “perfect truth machine”—OEM data is messy and real-world varies—but it’s far closer than brochure stats. Monetization is subscription for advanced scenarios plus affiliate leads to dealers/financing, with strict disclosure.
