HydrantIQ

HydrantIQ is a mobile + web app for facilities and safety teams to verify on-site fire protection readiness—hydrants, standpipes, hose reels, and fire department connections—without drowning in paper logs. It guides inspectors through standardized checks, captures geo-tagged photos/video, records flow/pressure readings, and flags failures with clear remediation tasks and deadlines. An AI layer auto-reads gauge dials from photos, detects missing caps/obstructions, and drafts compliant inspection reports for AHJs and insurers. The web dashboard tracks compliance by site, schedules recurring inspections, and produces audit-ready exports. This is not a consumer emergency app; it’s a boring, operational tool aimed at reducing “we thought it was fine” surprises. Realistically, adoption depends on integrations and trust, so the MVP focuses on fast field workflows and defensible records rather than fancy analytics.
